Deadline: May 9, 2021 at 23.59h CEST

Important Note

In response to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, we regretfully announce that the 34rd Workshop of the European Helicobacter and Microbiota Study Group, originally scheduled to take place from September 16 – 18, 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia, had to be cancelled.

In order to guarantee that the latest research and education can still be shared continually on an international level, EHMSG will transition to a virtual conference in a compact version taking place on one day only on Saturday, September 18, 2021 providing both live and on demand talks as well as a platform for e-posters.

We therefore are asking for E-Poster submissions only (no oral presentation will be possible). All abstracts will be subject to Scientific panel scoring as per usual, with successful abstract submitters notified end of June 2021.

Detailed technical instructions on how to create and submit E-Posters to the platform will be made available to all successful presenters.

Notification of Acceptance

All abstracts will be reviewed by the peer reviewers after the deadline on May 9, 2021.

  • Authors will be notified on acceptance by email beginning of July 2021.

  • The corresponding/submitting author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.

  • Accepted abstracts will be presented as E-posters.

Presentations of abstracts
The submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the presenting author to present the abstract (if accepted) as an E-Poster in the session assigned by the EHMSG Programme Committee.

Publication of abstracts
Accepted abstracts will be published in Microbiota in Health and Disease, the official journal of the European Helicobacter and Microbiota Study Group – EHMSG.

All presenters of e-posters are automatically entered in the competition for the Abstract Awards. There will be two awards for e-poster presentations. The winners will be announced in the closing session.
